Zog (BoF)

Zog, the Dark Dragon King is a character in the original Breath of Fire game. He is introduced as the protagonist almost immediately, when his family attack the Light Dragons. Having vowed to take over the world, they are his first target.

Zog is originally unaware that the Light Dragons have lost the power of the Dragon - in other words, they can no longer transform into the fire breathing lizards of legends.

Zog plans to unleash Tyr, the Goddess of Desire, upon the world once more.

In Game

Zog is not actually seen for much of the game. Instead, he sends his generals, including Jade, to attack the party. The party also hears rumours of him in Auria - that he is the only man with the ability to transform into a Dragon.
