Tantar
Tantar is the town of the Forest Clan in the original Breath of Fire game. It lies next to a river, with Tuntar on the opposite bank. The town contains a weapon shop, a dragon temple and an Inn which charges 60g per night. This is also Bo's hometown.
Here, in the south-westernmost house which belongs to the blacksmith, you can exchange I.Ore for a Saw.
On the first floor of the chief's house, you can a W.Ptn in the drawers, and in the Inn you can find a Charm.

Tuntar
Tuntar lies on a river, on the eastern bank, across from Tantar. Talking to the townsfolk reveals rumours of a Stone Robot, in a place known as the Stone Cemetery. The town contains an item shop, and an Inn which charges 59g per night.
You can find a herb in a chest of drawers on the first floor of the chief's house, and a cure in a bureau at the back of the Inn.
