Fou-Lu

The legendary emperor of Breath of Fire IV. One thousand years ago, he founded and ruled the Fou empire, the land to the west. Long before the game begins, he puts himself into a deep sleep to wait for his 'other half', so that he can join with him and become whole. He was summoned to this world from another,and when this happened his spirit was not whole - instead, it was split into two parts.
He is a playable character, but is separate from the others. As his inventory is also completely separate, it is best to leave chests passed by as Fou-Lu for Ryu's party to pick up later.
He has the ability to change into a dragon, and is referred to as a god.
Later in the game, it is revealed that his other half is Ryu.
